Trendy are natural and romantic Wedding Hair Styles that sometimes can even be a bit "messy" (see photo left).

The hair style can also include decorative flowers or other hair accessories. Also braiding styles are very popular for those who wants to have a more "innocent" look.

The Pop Star Christina Aguilera wore her hair pulled back in a bun and decorated in white flowers and jewels.

Whatever you decide make sure that your hair style suites your facial shape and your individual style.

GETTING PREPARED for your wedding day

It is important to prepare your Wedding Day carefully to avoid any disasters.

Leave your hair and make-up to the professionals. They have the right tools and expertise to make you a radiant and stunning bride.  At least one week before your wedding day you should make an appointment with the hairdresser. This is the final try out and make sure that you take all the necessary accessoires with you to avoid any misunderstandings on your Wedding Day.

Make sure you reserve an appointment on the Wedding day for the hairdresser and make-up artist. Lots of hairstylists and make-up artists are mobile and may come to your home or hotel at no extra charge.

If your natural hair is too short to have an updo you could consider having a hair piece or a hair extension.

If you consider a veil to compliment the bridal hairstyle make sure that the hairstyle can take the weight of it. Choose your accessories like decorative beads, flowers, hair pins and jewels in the colour scheme that matches your Wedding dress.

Your hairdresser knows exactly which bridal hairstyle looks good on you and he can also advise you which accessories you could use. If you want, you can show your hairdresser some photos of hairstyles you like. Try them out and be open to new ideas and advice that the stylist gives you.

You can also ask to see a hairstylist's portfolio to get an idea of the looks she can and has created. Choose a hairdo that reflects your personal style.

If you want to have a slightly tanned body on your memorable day you could visit a solarium. It is advisable to also plan it some weeks before the wedding.

Trendy  Looks

Romantic and innocent

Between innocent and ecstatic: looking like an elf, with soft tones and a decadent veil that makes one dream of Summer.

Your hair looks very natural at the same time. It is a look that emphasizes the hair.

How to make romantic corkscrew locks?

Many updos require curly locks. To become those so-called spiralled locks you need an (electric) curling iron or a curling brush. If you use a curling brush release the hair within thirty seconds and select a brush large enough to wrap your hair easily.

If your spiralled locks are too "spiralled" you can moisten your hair again and release the hair within ten to twenty seconds - as long as the required spiralled locks have been formed.

Tip: If you want your bridal hairstyle to look stunningly romantic it is advisable to use bright colours!

wedding fashion

At the moment neutral and natural colours are trendy (bright white gold and romantic pastel white). Obviously romantic white is also still hot.

Some brides are very brave and select more and more an upper part in red (the colour of romance and love). Those colors are definitely "out."

Grooms mostly choose a suit in traditional black.

Lots of women choose to have an upper part with a semi-transparent fabric with Swarovski crystal or pearl applications.
